Benji joins the firm after graduating from Victoria University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws and Arts degree. He has spent the last ten years working in the Sports industry both domestically and internationally.
Benji has recently completed a stint as a Match Manager on Rugby World Cup 2019 – his second World Cup in this role. Benji was also involved in the Women’s World Cup in 2017 as a Match Commissioner.
Benji returned to New Zealand this year, following seven years in London where he worked at the Rugby Football Union based at Twickenham. Working at the professional end of the game, he was also involved at the grassroots level and worked within the Competitions team at England Rugby, helping to ensure that the playing offer was appropriate for all participants in the game. Navigating England Rugby’s famous bureaucracy has given him a great insight into how organisations and people work.
Benji is back in the Bay with his young family and is excited to be residing in the province he grew up in. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, reading, watching sport and listening to Podcasts.
Benji is excited to bring his life experience into our property team and help our clients achieve the best outcomes.
