Joshua was admitted as a lawyer in 2008 and began his practice in environmental law. He works with a number of post-settlement government entities providing advice on pre-settlement and post-settlement issues. He is also currently representing applicants in the High Court and in direct negotiation with the Crown to progress their claims for Customary Marine Title. He regularly advises Māori entities and individuals on general trust, land, environmental and commercial matters.
Joshua enjoys taking on a client’s issue and working out the most effective strategy to reach the best outcome. He takes a calm and considered approach towards issues and he has the trust and confidence of the clients he represents.
